K is for Kicking Around #A2ZChallenge

“I am just kicking around to become stronger.” – Baby A

I remember kicking as early as when I was in Mommy’s tummy. At that time if I liked something Mommy ate or I wanted to tell her something important, I would kick her. However, since the day I arrived, I have been kicking around. This is the same reason my doctor addressed me as a future gymnast.

Now almost 4 months old I still love to kick. Usually, when I am in the kicking mode, I try to communicate with the people around me. People know that I usually want to play when I am happy and full of smiles. Meanwhile, when I am crying or fussing around, then something is bothering me, like a dirty diaper, gas or simply a burp. Then there are times when I just kick around because I can and feel like.

When I am too hot I kick the blanket off me. However, I can never pull it back so I start crying out loudly, to gain attention. Sometimes I like fun activities and kick hard, just to tell my people that I like it and let’s do it again for some more fun. I also kick when it is my exercise time. Often in the afternoons I kick very rapidly. At this point, I just want someone especially Mommy to calm me down as I feel that I’m overstimulated.

Then there are times I just kick because I like something. Whenever, Miss A wears her panda bear nightsuit, I love to kick and catch hold of the bears. The other day Miss A was not wearing that nightsuit. In the morning I was looking for the bears. When I could not find them, I was a little upset and instead I pinched her on the eye. She got up that very minute but did not say anything to me. She is indeed a darling.

That’s all from my end today as the weekend has left me quite high and dry with all the kicking around I have done.

Well, about me I can say that I am a certified dentist, healthcare analyst, medical writer and above all a mother of a 6-year-old. Most of my day to day activities revolve around her and she is my inspiration to start this blog. As a mother, I experimented with a lot of new things for my little one in a quest to find the best for her. I just want to share my experiences of being a happy and content mum.

I hope the cutie pie’s kicking adventures continue. Maybe she would really become a gymnast. 😉

Haha this is probably the only time in her life that her sister will allow her to kick, without any consequences!

Haha, I really loved the narration style Shubhra. At first, I was shocked and didn’t get the thing actually. Then gradually, understood the whole thing!! Wow, a kid is telling her own journey from tummy to the world. Beautiful! Enjoyed the post.

So cute. The baby must be really tired after so much kicking. Kicks remind me of the beautiful feeling when Little Miss A kicked for the first time and how i panicked when she stopped at 34 weeks and i had to deliver to ensure she was ok.

Ohh! Poor Miss A. I hope that she wasn’t hurt badly. This is the only age where they can get away with the kicks! 🙂
