These days Miss A is learning about the classification of food. This also includes the difference between healthy food and junk food. So the day she studied this in school she came home and we had a little conversation.
Miss A: Ma, you know junk food is bad.
Me: Yes I know
She: But I don’t eat much junk food, do I?
Me: No baby, you don’t.
She: But if I eat it sometimes then is that ok? Will I still become unhealthy?
Me: Eating it once in a while is fine. You will not become unhealthy.
She wanted to have this conversation because just a few days back she had a burger and she was worried. She does not enjoy junk food and often addresses herself as a ‘paratha baby’.
Over the weekend she got an assignment to make a poster on saying no to junk food. We browsed certain pictures and put in our thoughts for the same. The result is here:
