On baby’s first Christmas there is a beautiful tree,
With many bright colours for baby to see,
Along baby’s crib bells that jingle are strung,
And close by the chimney Baby’s stocking is hung
I was born in the month of December. I have often heard Mommy say that December is a very good month. It is a festive month and with the year coming to an end, everybody is very cheerful and happy. Another reason for everyone to be in a joyous mood is Christmas! Since Mommy has studied in a convent school she has full faith in Santa and Christmas and she has made sure to pass this tradition to Miss A. So… it is a must for her to celebrate these last few festive days of the year.
Now, you all know that Miss A had asked Santa to bring ME as her Christmas present. As her wish had come true, Miss A was a bit too happy. She, along with our Nani, decorated the Xmas Tree. Though the tree was a small one(just about 2 feet tall), they took almost 2 days to decorate it as they made and used multi-coloured baubles, stars, bells and even cotton for snow. The tree had a bright red star on the top and twinkling lights all around. Miss A’s miniature toys and neatly packed gift boxes (for all her dolls) were also placed all around the now, sparkling tree. On the eve of Christmas, a note was placed for Santa. This was actually a THANK YOU note, in which she had thanked Santa for fulfilling her wish.
Mommy says that December babies are special (as she is also December born). Well, she does not say it without a reason, as she has science to prove this:
- As per a study by the university students of Italy and Spain, the December baby is a morning person. Yes… both Mommy and I were born in the morning. Not only this, but these babies also sleep early at night. Let me confess here, that I do sleep early (and that’s how Mommy gets time for writing all my thoughts) and am the first person to wake up in the morning along with Mommy.
- December babies will always be the youngest in their class. I am sure this too is going to be a good thing. According to some research, there are some academic benefits for being the youngest in the class. Mommy says, it may be hard in school, but by the time I grow up I may outshine the older children. 😉
- As per a survey, December born babies grow up to become Dentists (I guess Mommy makes up this one).
Now you know why December babies are ‘sooo so special’… Not that Miss A is not special for Mommy!!!
