My Figments of Imagination #WordlessWednesday

Four months back, I got a canvas and some paints on a random visit to the market. It has been quite some while since I picked up my paintbrush, almost 12 years. That day I got an urge to paint something, but on reaching home the canvas and the paints just kept sitting in the shopping bag for almost 2 weeks. Soon they were dumped into a cupboard when I was on one of my cleaning sprees. Though I did think of them, the effort to search for them drained out my enthusiasm.

Yesterday, when my daughter was busy doing some artwork, something happened to me. I walked towards the closet where I had stashed the canvas and the paints. Tried my best to dig them out and finally, I woke them up from their hibernation.

I did not plan for anything in specific, just a dab of paint and splash of colours … I just wanted to feel the colours, smell them and stir up an art piece with an impromptu imagination.

Now that I have finally picked up my paintbrush, I am definitely not letting it go in a deep slumber again.

Well, about me I can say that I am a certified dentist, healthcare analyst, medical writer and above all a mother of a 3-year-old. Most of my day to day activities revolve around her and she is my inspiration to start this blog. As a mother, I experimented with a lot of new things for my little one in a quest to find the best for her. I just want to share my experiences of being a happy and content mum.
