A Mix and Match For Breakfast #WordlessWednesday

“Breakfast is my speciality. I admit it’s the easiest meal to cook, but I make everything with a twist, like lemon ricotta pancakes or bacon that’s baked instead of fried.” – Hugh Jackman

Featured post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian BloggersBeing a chilled morning I decided to make the simple yet all-time favourite American breakfast. Halfways while preparing the food I realised that I have run out on bread and did not want to rush down to the little grocery store in the society. So instead my husband who by now was in the kitchen because of the irresistible smell of sausages suggested that we have Maggi instead. I was a little hesitant ( because when my husband cooks Maggie — it also happens to be the only thing he can cook — he cooks it with an extra dose of butter and cheese). However, I didn’t show my resistance and went ahead to help him with Maggie. Though not a typical American breakfast, our very own mix and match breakfast was not all that bad with eggs in the bell pepper, sausages, Maggie and a hot cup of coffee.

Well, about me I can say that I am a certified dentist, healthcare analyst, medical writer and above all a mother of a 6-year-old. Most of my day to day activities revolve around her and she is my inspiration to start this blog. As a mother, I experimented with a lot of new things for my little one in a quest to find the best for her. I just want to share my experiences of being a happy and content mum.

That’s my kind of breakfast totally. I love a delicious, elaborate breakfast myself and cereals won’t do at all.

Love those meticulously arranged and plated food items. The table looks perfect and the Maggie our of the world. Been a while I tried Maggie with cheese! Will give it a go.

Thank you for this beautiful, uplifting post. And lining up with us on #WW.

The layout of the breakfast is fabulous and so is the view of your balcony. I simply love the table chairs in your balcony which tell stories of the numerous stories told and shared around them. I am not a fan of cooking but the only meal I love cooking elaborately (and not everyday) is my breakfast and my favourite breakfast is pyaaz ka parantha with a tall cup of ginger tea 🙂
I tried all the twitter share buttons on this page and could not find your twitter handle configured in them. Please consider fixing this glitch since I would have loved to share this post.

Breakfast is so popular in parts of the United States that some restaurants will offer breakfast all day. I love eggs with cheese as an omelet – and, of course, sausage.

Nothing like an elaborate breakfast. I love the way you’ve set up the table and the way food is arranged, all ready to tuck in. Ah, coffee as an accompaniment seems perfect. I’m not a Maggi person but my son simply adores it whenever I make him one. Thank you for sharing a slice of your morning and joining our linky party today, Shubhra.

Breafast looks yummy although I must ask what is Maggie? I could see myself sitting on the balcony with a glass of Sweet Tea and reading a book.
