The Night Fair #WordlessWednesday

“Life is like a Ferris wheel, sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down. In the end, you just have to learn to enjoy the ride.”

The huge ground bang opposite our society plays host to weddings, office get-togethers and many such activities. Two weeks back, we saw some activities taking place on the ground. Then one day a Ferris wheel was installed. Seeing this, Miss A was excited.

“Look Ma, a Ferris wheel! We will go there once everything has been set up.”

My daughter and I were under the impression that the ground is being laid for a fair and we waited patiently for the day when we could visit it until last week when our dreams were crushed. The ground was being set up for an office after party and not a night fair.

We were disappointed but did we enjoy the night fair! Yes, we did! On the night of the party, my daughter and I sat in our balcony and witnessed the show. The singer grooving to the latest songs, the lights and the Ferris wheel all made our dinner enjoyable.

Though now Miss A wants to ride on the Ferris wheel … and this is also on her to-do list 😉

Well, about me I can say that I am a certified dentist, healthcare analyst, medical writer and above all a mother of a 6-year-old. Most of my day to day activities revolve around her and she is my inspiration to start this blog. As a mother, I experimented with a lot of new things for my little one in a quest to find the best for her. I just want to share my experiences of being a happy and content mum.

That is one impressive office “party”. I can see the attraction of the ferris wheel, though. Last year, we stayed in a motel in Orlando, Florida in sight distance of the Orlando Eye, and it was fascinating seeing it at night, all lit up in pulsating colors.

That must have been great fun, watching the party with the lights and the music! I bet it made your dinner a little special. Now, all you got to do is wait for a chance to get Miss A on a ferris wheel. 🙂

I’m glad you did not disappoint Ms. A, rather spent a cosy evening with her jiving to the music.

Perspectives really, that’s what matters in life. Instead of letting the disappointment creep in you girls had a ball of an evening.

Lovely post, Shubhra. Thank you .
