The Yellow Flowers #WordlessWednesday

How wonderful the colour yellow is. It stands for the sun – Vincent Van Gogh

On the Pune-Mumbai expressway, the lone yellow tree stood out from a distance. As we approached closer the tree in full bloom looked magnificent. For the rest of the journey, I kept thinking about the yellow tree. So when we were returning I insisted that I take a picture of the same.

The lone yellow tree

For the rest of the week, I also clicked other yellow flowers in and around where I stay and went. Often we look out for the red, pink and purple hues where yellow is never noticed. But I must say yellow does look good and definitely stands out.

These remind me of my grandmother’s house

Smiling away 🙂

Well, about me I can say that I am a certified dentist, healthcare analyst, medical writer and above all a mother of a 6-year-old. Most of my day to day activities revolve around her and she is my inspiration to start this blog. As a mother, I experimented with a lot of new things for my little one in a quest to find the best for her. I just want to share my experiences of being a happy and content mum.

    Shubhra,

Yellow is such a vibrant colour infused with life and hope. Just like the sun.

That is an Amaltas or laburnum tree. We have plenty dotting our landscape and they always leave us bewitched with their sunny hue. When they flower, we can barely see the leaves, and the ground underneath is carpeted with the falling petals.

Thanks for sharing these enchanting shots on #WW. Made my morning happy.
